When using kettle transformation as PRD datasource, "Abort Transformation on Errors" option does not function properly when report is executed in User Console

      1. Extract attachment and open testreport.prpt
      2. Preview report. No data is shown on report, but report still generates.
      3. Publish report to BA Server.
      4. Upload the test ktr to the same repository directory the prpt published to.
      5. Execute report on BA Server. You'll get the error: "Transformation reported 1 records with errors and stop-on-error is true. Aborting."

      Description

      The "Abort Transformation on Errors" option, when deselected, still aborts the transformation when the report is published and executed on the BA Server. This option still works as expected when previewing the report in PRD.

      A use-case where this prevents a solution from working is when a subreport uses a transformation as a data source, and there is an error with the transformation, then the master report will not generate even if data is not required in the subreport.
