      When an issue is open, the "Fix Version/s" field conveys a target, not necessarily a commitment. When an issue is closed, the "Fix Version/s" field conveys the version that the issue was fixed in.

      Description

      Currently, it is not possible to update the existing record with the Bulk Insert Plugin step. The plugin sends Index requests (https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/docs-index_.html) You cannot use the index API to send update requests for existing documents to a data stream.

      We would like to have an option to update the existing record.
