      Hide

      1. Add Publish Model step to job flow,
      2. enter the url as http://localhost:8080 as indicated in the mouseover tool tip for the URL field.
      3. enter BA server credentials for the admin user
      4. test the connection

      Correct URL is http://localhost:8080/pentaho/

      Show
      1. Add Publish Model step to job flow, 2. enter the url as http://localhost:8080 as indicated in the mouseover tool tip for the URL field. 3. enter BA server credentials for the admin user 4. test the connection Correct URL is http://localhost:8080/pentaho/

      Description

The mouse over tool tip on the URL field of the Publish Model job entry contains an example URL of http://localhost:8080, however if a URL in this format is used, the Publish Model step is unable to connect to the server. The proper tool tip example should be: http://localhost:8080/pentaho

As is, this could mislead developers and cause unnecessary support requests.
