      Description

The timestamp data type seems very broken in PDI5.

      Examples:

Can't sort by it - get an error message saying "can't compare values for data type 9" (or something like that)
Can't use it in the generate rows step - keep getting an error saying:

Error: Please specify the value type of field [a] with value [01/01/2013]

AFAIK it seems this a new datatype in PDI5. It's not normally a problem, but the issues occur when working with a database which does return timestamps, e.g. with mysql. Previously pdi mapped them to a date datatype, but not it maps them to timestamp and then lots of things dont work.

Workaround is to use select values to change it back to a pdi date type.

Reproduced with the current PDI EE download as well as with the current PDI Trunk.
