      Description

      if I define a parent-child hierarchies without closure table the followinfg query does not work ( no result ).

      SELECT

      {[Measures].[Employee Salary]}
      ON COLUMNS, {[Employees].Members}
      ON ROWS
      FROM [HR]

      The following does work ( all the hierarchy):

      SELECT{[Measures].[Employee Salary]}

      ON COLUMNS,

      {[Employees].AllMembers}

      ON ROWS
      FROM [HR]

      if i define the closure table both queries work and return the entire hierarchy .

      This behavior causes problems on XMLA client which use the members function to get the members of a hierarchy
