Adding element in details band breaks out the Pentaho Report Designer GUI.

    • Notice:
      When an issue is open, the "Fix Version/s" field conveys a target, not necessarily a commitment. When an issue is closed, the "Fix Version/s" field conveys the version that the issue was fixed in.
    • Operating System/s:
      Ubuntu 10.x (64-bit), Windows 7

      Description

      When trying to add the element in the detail band, the Pentaho Report Designer GUI breaks .

      Steps to replicate.
      1. In the Details section create a Band and add few elements to the band.
      2. Now right-click on the Details layout or on the Structured Tab and try to add the element, the Pentaho Report Designer breaks.

      Please refer the attached .prpt report file and the animated .gif file. I am also attaching the log.

        Caused by the new label's default height of 20pt. Reducing the label to 12pt makes everything work again.
        So that will be relatively easy to fix.
