A simple legacy-style implementation exists in 0.8.10; however, this one is not suitable for being used in the engine's native crosstabbing and only exists to provide support for older reports that ran in the report-designer and platform.

Fixed. Native Mondrian and OLAP4J datasources exist now supporting the three major usecases:

(1) Legacy Banded MDX, so let old reports run as before
(2) Banded MDX - a flattened 2D result, this time with better axis names and support for infinite axes. All page and further axes are mapped into the result as additional columns.
(3) Denormalized MDX - for crosstabbing.
