Simply added a log4j.xml file to the resource directory of PRD to make it more obvious how to change the logging. There was never a need to go into jar-files to override the logging, as log4j uses the first occurence of an log4j.xml file on the classpath (and the launcher.jar always places single-entry classpath-elements before any library list.

In the resource folder you see the log4.xml as explained by Thomas.Hence marking this as resolved.
