Description

in PME you need to know the root solutions name when publishing.

It defaults to samples which no longer exists in 2.0.1

Dave,

Can we keep this open, as we need to be able to browse the Repository via the dialog and provide a check box to save the credentials, just like the RD publish dialog has.

That was the pure intention of this case.

Applied the patch, verified in CI. Note that the case title doesn't exactly match what was implemented, the functionality added allows people to customize the metadata.xmi file name if publishing to SOLUTION/resources/metadata/ , and it also remembers the entries into the path and file fields between uses.

Tested the issue on the builds pme-ee-4.0.0-GA and prd-ee-3.8.1-GA of date 08/23/2011.

The publish dialog in PME is not the same as in PRD.
See the attached screenshots.

This case is Not Fixed.

As described in my comment on the 19th, the title of the story doesn't match directly to the implementation, but as long as the new changes have made it in and the various properties are remembered between dialog uses, this case can be marked as validated.

The file name and location can be customized.
Everything but the server username and passwords are persisted even past an application restart.

This seems to be working as expected.
