      Description

      This is a spin-off of PDI-4010.

Inconsistencies between BAT and SH files

      • Some add ZIP files to classpath--why? Others do not.
      • Some add . to classpath--why? Others do not.
      • carte.sh doesn't test architecture (e.g. 32-bit)
      • Some hard-code win32 libraries (i.e. DLLs) regardless of architecture.
      • Some use %*; others calculate the cmdline.
      • Some use launcher. Others do not.
      • Some quote the whole parameter like "-Djava.library.path=%LIBPATH" while others quote only the parameter value like -Djava.library.path="%LIBPATH%"

It's possible that these inconsistencies will cause different behavior across OSes and architectures.
